Program Description

Our $250 EKG Skills Workshop is a 2-day, in-person, extensive hands-on training. Students will practice in person using standard equipment and engage in practical learning activities, such as lead placement, equipment operation, and basic rhythm recognition. Students will also receive a comprehensive workbook designed to prepare them for the American Allied Health EKG exam 

This course is ideal for individuals interested in exploring the field of EKG, refreshing their skills, or gaining hands-on experience with national exam prep. At checkout, participants may also bundle this workshop with Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

A Certificate of Completion is issued upon completion of the workshop.

After completing our course, students may explore certification opportunities through the American Allied Health (AAH) organization. Their exam fee is $105. This certifying organization will issue the Certified EKG Technician certificate (CET).

The Mays Phlebotomy Institute is also a proctor site for the AAH Certified EKG Technician exam.
