Both the First Aid/CPR/AED and Basic Life Support (BLS) courses are offered in a Blended Learning format, which combines a self-paced online component with an in-person skills session.

Students will receive access to the Red Cross online course before their scheduled in-person skills day. The online portion must be completed before attending the in-person session to receive certification.

In-person skills sessions are held every Monday at our Houston location and are led by a certified American Red Cross instructor. These courses meet OSHA standards, healthcare industry requirements, and are ideal for medical professionals, workplace safety personnel, and community members alike.

Upon successful completion of both components (online/in-person skills), students will receive a 2-year American Red Cross certification, issued the same day as their in-person skills session.
